The guys over at Kasi Concepts have cobbled together a pretty fun looking street ride which circles the city west, east and north. It’s going down March 23, a Monday night, no idea of the start time yet though. I hope it becomes a regular thing, i need to get some miles up on the Columbus when it arrives.
This is the route:-
* From the Bell Tower
* Up Beaufort to Planet (slight climb)
* Down Walcott (downhill) to Lord St (downhill)
* Left at Edward St concrete factory
* Over the Claisebrook overpass
* Down Kensington into East Parade towards roundabout
* Left onto Royal… Travalgar (uphill)… Waterloo (sweeping downhill)
* Left onto Plain (downhill)
* Adelaide… St Georges… Mount St pedestrian overpass
* Bike path to Hay St
* Hay to Subi (uphill) and then (downhill)
* Up Rokeby (uphill)
* Bagot… Kings Park Road… Malcom (DOWNHILL!!!)
* William then Hay St mall
* Finish criterion hotel…. Beer or two if still open.
Oh, and they’ve got some sweet pista cranks FS up on the site, check it out.

To all my Perth fixie brothers and sisters out there, keep your cool when you ride the streets and hear a, “You should get some Deep V’s!!”. That’s just the call of the wild drunken Batty. He’s been roaming the streets drunk after much a bopping at the Becks Music Box and cannot help but inform fixie riders everywhere that he too is in the know.
